Work is underway for a new public preschool at Umina Beach Public School.

The new public preschool will provide a safe and engaging environment for preschool children, featuring specially designed rooms and a quality outdoor play area.

Co-located with Umina Beach Public School, the public preschool will ensure children are ready for kindergarten, helping busy families avoid the double drop off, and making the transition to school as seamless as possible.

The Minns Labor Government has made this significant investment into public preschools to ensure every child in NSW can access quality early education, ensuring they have the best start in life.

I have heard from too many families who are unable to access early childhood education spaces on the southern end of the Central Coast. The NSW Government are listening and acting, delivering early education outcomes for our community.

This new public preschool will provide dozens of new free preschool places for young children and their families, and provide more quality early education places for our local community.
