Putting Gosford first

Prior to her election in 2017, Liesl was a Paralympic champion, representing Australia at seven Paralympic Games. Liesl went on to teach at local high schools for 20 years, working alongside our community to foster the next generation of students.

As a former Paralympian and high school teacher working and living in our community, Liesl understands what is truly important to the people of Gosford – access to health care and education, strong local employment, the environment and secure housing. 

Liesl is a passionate advocate for our entire community, committed to fighting for justice, fairness, equity, and inclusion.

Alongside the privilege of representing the Electorate of Gosford, Liesl is honoured to represent NSW as the Parliamentary Secretary for Families and Communities, and Parliamentary Secretary for Disability Inclusion.
